Within the sailing scene it's easy to focus on the coolest, most innovative and fastest classes around the world. Hidden all around the world we also find many traditional sailing classes which have been there for years and years; the Olympiajol, Snipe, Lightning, Etchells, Twelve Foot Dinghies. Did you know the Twelve Foot Dinghy was the first one-design racing dinghy to achieve international recognition and was an Olympic class in the 1920s?

February 2017 - The new Magic Marine collection is online now! New collections within the range have been developed including the Impact Pro Collection for extreme foiling conditions, and the Element Collection, where we offer sailors the 'perfect' foul weather gear with great comfort. The existing Ultimate collection has had technical updates to improve performance, with new items to complete the range for all conditions. The world wide Magic Marine Family expands with the twelve sailors of the Team Heiner Pups. Team Heiner was founded by Roy Heiner, a racing yachtsman in heart and soul, participated in four consecutive Olympic games, who won a bronze medal and skippered on several boats in ocean races around the world.

The Magic of the Olympics

Over the last few weeks, the whole world looked at Rio de Janeiro, the Olympic centre, where it all happened. At the Magic Marine headquarters we had a long preparation period building up to the Olympics. We worked closely together with the international teams to make sure they had the best possible outfits for all different conditions they would face in Rio. When the time was finally there and the event started, we all followed the racing very closely and cheered for our teams.


World Champions 49'er FX U23!

Dutch junior team riders Philip Meijer and Bart Lambriex won the 49'er FX World Championships under 23! Last week's regatta was held in Lelystad, the Netherlands. During the whole week the two Dutchies sailed solid and stable races in the constantly changing conditions.
