Alie and Liza Toppa

29er Class

My goal is to win the 29er Youth Champs

I first started sailing when i was six years old and have loved it ever since. I started out in the Optimist-which was a great start to my sailing career. It gave me many opportunities to travel at Such a young age to many different countries. Sailing lay HAS always a big part of my life and will always be. Just being on the water and racing is something that I love to do, no matter where I'm sailing out of. I now sail 29ers with my twin sister Liza, competing all over the country at high-level events. The 2015 ISAF Youth Worlds in Langkawi, Malaysia (29er skiff class girls) was one of my most memorable regattas. Having the opportunity to compete with the best youth sailors in the world was an event That gift us a lot more experience and a vision of what it takes to be the best in the world. Axle part of the US sailing Olympic Development Team, we practice out of Miami, Fl, Either sailing on the bay or out in the ocean-which Means we experience a little of every condition. Currently we are training for the 2016 summer events-including 29er Nationals and North Americans.
